Activation Energy DSU will act to increase the capacity of the Irish National Grid.
This is important to assisting the penetration of wind energy onto the system. Wind is poor at providing capacity to the grid so our service is an ideal counter balance to wind on the system.
Proof of this benefit is our endorsement by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), who having recognised the contribution we will play to meeting Ireland’s green targets, have offered us a development grant.
